JANUARY NEWSLETTER 2021

PLAYING TENNIS

Can I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that your Christmas was merry.

Unfortunately, as I am sure you understand, tennis is off till further notice as per GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES IN THE NEW LOCKDOWN. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you on court when it is safe to do so.

We had started to launch the use of the ball machine. Members will need to train to be able to use the machine, at which time they shall get the code to the shed for the machine. This is an exciting, fun new venture which has been halted by current events. Watch this space! New training days will start when it is allowed.

The AGM will be held on Tuesday 26th January at 7.30pm.

We have decided to hold the AGM by Zoom; it will be possible to join the meeting via a meet code which will be sent out to members interested in joining in the meeting. Interested members need to contact Clare Cunningham Hill on her email [email protected], to receive the meet code. Notice of the AGM and election of officers will follow this newsletter.

Officers for the committee will be elected in January, in the titles as follows, and anyone interested please speak to the committee or let Sue Gardiner know, on her email [email protected] . She needs to know by the 18th of January. You are welcome!

He has also been asked to play for GB in the World Championships in Croatia in June. Fingers crossed as they are for us all!
