How often do you get your racqet strung?

With the season nearly here it’s time to see if your racquet needs refreshing.

Did you know the rule of thumb is that you need to have it restrung the number of times you play per week per year?

Although it is sometimes rare for nylon strings to break, they can lose their resilience and response which results in less power and more effort for you.

Often this is where shoulder, elbow and wrist problems can start.

People can leave a year or more before racquets are re-strung, and strangely be proud of that fact, however this can be detrimental to their enjoyment of the game without them realising it.
