Meldreth Tennis Club held their autumn tournament on Saturday 5th October in perfect weather.  A record number of 20 members entered this year in what was to be a closely fought competition.

Two groups of 5 pairs played doubles matches of 5 games (duly fortified with biscuits) the winners of group one were Hilary Marsh and Rok Podgrajsek and they faced the winners of group two, David Freeman & Yvonne Blows, in an exciting 5 game final.  Hilary & Rok came through to take the trophies and prizes of a bottle of wine each, David & Yvonne took the runners up prizes of chocolates.  The members thanked Christine Knight for organising & running yet another successful tournament in 2019.
