Playing tennis during lockdown

From 13/05/2020 the courts will be re-opened for use by Mellor Tennis Club members

The conditions of use below are in line with the advice from the LTA

Who Can Play:

Do not play if you are self-isolating or feel unwell

You are allowed to play singles

You are allowed to play doubles with members of your own household only

Keeping your Distance!

Where possible avoid playing on adjacent courts

Ideally don't change ends, but if you decide to, do so on opposite sides of the net

Keep it Clean!

The gates should be locked when not in use, using the current code

Bins are removed – take your rubbish home

Benches and tables are out of use

Bring hand sanitiser, keep some in your sports bag

Sanitiser will be made available at the courts for use after touching the gates and nets

Bring your own!

Bring your own tennis balls and mark them; You should only handle your own tennis balls

Use your own racquet; Do not borrow a racquet from another player.

Be Fair and Share!

Do not use the courts for more than one hour if others are waiting to play
