Birmingham City Council is working in collaboration with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to encourage more of Birmingham’s local communities to get active by joining in at free Active Parks tennis sessions as part of Coke Zero’s Park Lives campaign. The sessions currently run parks in Aston, Brookvale, Calthorpe, Cannon Hill, Handsworth & Ward End parks, having been established to encourage local families to try fun, informal tennis activity together, in a familiar park or playground setting. No experience is needed & all equipment is provided - you don’t even need a proper tennis court to enjoy the benefits of playing tennis. So come on over and have a go!
