Using The Ball Machine

Those wanting to use the machine individually must first read the instructions which can be downloaded here http://www.spinshotsports.com/refs/manual-plus2.pdf and have a quick introductory session with a member of the committee - email pr@oundletennis.org to arrange.

We're asking for a £5 per (annual) season per family wanting to use it to cover ball & insurance costs (an adult must set it up/supervise any u18s using it).  Put money in a named envelope the visitors' money box slot just by the door to the ladies' changing rooms.

You will be able to book using it through the booking section of the tennis club website (www.oundletennis.org).

You will be told the access code upon completion of the above.

The machine will also be in action (at no cost) during club sessions if a committee member/ trained user is present and willing to take responsibility for its supervision.

You must put it on to charge after use, and return to take it off charge if you cannot stay at the club until it has had a decent amount of time on charge. 

Please also use the log book (with the machine) to say when you used it and how long it was charged for to avoid other users coming to a ‘flat’ machine.

The machine should only be used in dry conditions. Please stop immediately if it starts to rain and don't use it if the courts are damp.

There is a tube which can be used to collect the balls. It lives in the seat of the bench just inside the club door on the left.

Any issues with it must be reported to pr@oundletennis.org ASAP, please.
