A-Team tennis player, Margaret Bottomley, helps bring home the gold for England in the 2023 European Masters Hockey Championships.

The championships were held in Valencia 16-23 July, with the England Hockey Team beating Netherlands 7-0, Scotland 1-0 and Wales 4-0 in the group stages. The final saw England face Scotland again. In 35° heat England started strongly, dominated the first quarter and were 3-0 up after 15 minutes. The final score was 7-0.

Earlier in the summer, the England Hockey team won an International Master's Tournament in Holland and the Home Nations in Glasgow.

In October, Margaret will be starting the selection process all over again, aiming to stay in the England team for next season, which culminates with the World Cup in Auckland, New Zealand.
