Tesco raises funds for Park Tennis Club's refurbishment of the clubhouse.  Karen Johnson received a cheque for £356.11 on Park's behalf. The money was raised through sales of books on Tesco's Community book stand,

Our thanks go to Sam and Tesco Brighouse customers for supporting our refurbishment project, to Karen for organising the event, and to all our members who visited the store to donate/purchase books and help keep the stand tidy.

New sink units have now been installed throughout the clubhouse, floor covering in the kitchen, changing rooms and toilet areas have been replaced, with just a few minor touches to finish off.

Margaret Bottomley, Chair, said, 'Thanks to all members who have helped, but in particular we have Janette Buckley to thank for being the driving force, organiser and chief work horse... it looks fantastic!'
