Thirteen members attended today's working party, making a total of 58 member visits this week.

Today's activities involved:

  • Dressing the cemetery court
  • Brushing
  • Levelling
  • Cementing the new edging stones in place
  • Painting the clubhouse
  • Installing the benches on the lawn
  • Clearing the court of empty pallets

A well-earned cup of tea was provided by Cathy Winterbottom, and Rose Tipton brought oatcakes for us all to enjoy with our tea.  Thank you, Cathy and Rose!

There is still work to be done before the courts can be opened, and a working party has therefore been arranged for Sunday 22nd March between 2pm and 4pm.  If you can make it, even for half an hour, we would be really pleased to see you!

Sunday's tasks include:

  • Rolling the cemetery court
  • Top dressing the shed side court
  • Painting the clubhouse
  • Painting the benches

Margaret Bottomley is leading.

Any additional tasks will be handed out on the day.

Thank you so much for all your help so far!
