The Baldwin Trophy is Park Tennis Club's singles tournament, organised by Chris Williams and run on a handicap basis.  It was held on 15th September with separate Men's and Ladies' contests.

In the Men’s contest, the 2018 winner, John Langtry-Langton, was burdened with a handicap of -40, meaning he had to win three points in each game just to get back level with anyone off a handicap of scratch.

In the group stage, all seven contestants played at least four matches, with John and Jordan winning the most, meaning they went through to contest the final.

Jordan took full advantage of the handicap in the final being off -15 scratch (starting each game alternately off minus 15 and then off scratch) compared to John’s  -40 for all games.

It was a hard fought match with Jordan eventually beating John 6 games to 4.
