Our annual Mix'n Match tournament is on Sunday 20th May, starting at 2 p.m sharp and finishing at about 5 p.m. Many of you will have played in this event before but for those who haven't, it is a mixed purely social event where you enter as an individual and will change partners regularly. Juniors over 11 and adults are welcome - of any playing standard except absolute beginners. It is handicapped to give everyone an equal chance of winning. Cost is £1 to cover costs of prizes.

Roger has three pleas:  

· Do please turn up by 1.50 p.m, so that we can start promptly.

· Do please contact him (by phone 01235 812202 ) if you have to drop out at the last minute.  

If we don't know whether you are coming or not, we can't make alternative arrangements to cover your withdrawal - and 20 or so people are kept waiting.

· Do please make up your minds early whether you wish to play or not. Each year it looks as if we'll have to cancel because of lack of support, and then we get a flurry of late requests to play.
