We have succeeded in changing our Charitable Status from an unincorporated to a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation). The main benefit is that it offers a higher level of protection to the committee.
The Charity Number has changed (SC051268) and the official club name is now Rothes Tennis Club 2021.
The next step in the process is opening a new Bank Account. You'd think it would be a straightforward task but it has been ongoing since late last year. A complaint has been made to BoS regarding the time it has taken to set up the Account.
