Congratulations to Graeme Baker on winning the James Cooper Coach of the Year at this year's WALTAs at Villa Park. Below is the nomination brief from the programme;

"Graeme recently retired after 15-20 years dedication to coaching at all levels. Graeme went from being an Assistant Coach to attaining his Level 4 Performance Coach Award. Around 1,000 - 2,000 people of all ages improved their tennis skills in the Rugby area with Graeme's help and enthusiasm.

Some notable players have been: Jake Hersey - one of the best 16-17 year old players in Europe; Elizabeth Massey - regular Warwickshire County player; Chris Hinds, Marcus Powell, John Hales and Gareth Davies have all gone on to be successful coaches. Alfie Offord, Raheem Shahzada, Emily Green and Charlotte Eaton now attend county training. Also a number of players involved in regional coaching over the years."
