Notes from the coach

This session, coached by two lead coaches as well as two assistants, is designed to give the children a full and comprehensive basis of which to start their tennis journey. They will learn skills such as agility, balance, and coordination, while also learning the technique for all of the shots in tennis. By the end of the course it is hoped that the children will be able to competently rally with each other, and will be gaining confidence in playing matches. This course, including 13 lessons, will be hosted indoors in the Kettlethorpe High School gymnasium and costs £2 more per session (£8.25 for members & £9.25 for non-members) than outdoor lessons to cover the facility costs.
