Jojo Morris is one of the brightest stars at SLTC. A busy mum to three boys, and on her feet for hours behind the bar at the Masons Arms, somehow she finds the time to play tennis nearly every day.

Oh, and her hobby is weightlifting!

Jojo only started playing tennis in 2019, receiving her first lessons from our very own coach Harrison Gwilt, before joining Shrewsbury Lawn in 2021. Through hard work, practice and a steely determination, Jojo now captains both the ladies 4th team and the mixed doubles 4th team. Both teams have had a fantastic 2024 with the mixed doubles team winning the league with a match to spare.

On top of all this Jojo has found time to help out with the club's social media and now energetically heads up the club's new look Facebook. She's also in demand as a volunteer at the disability coaching programme for the Sevendale Academy organised by Harrison for six weeks every summer.
