UPDATE: Tier 4 Restrictions

The Government announced on 19 December that new Tier 4 restrictions were to be introduced in parts of England from that evening. 

  • Outdoor tennis courts can remain open for individual exercise, and for people to use with others within your household, support bubble, or with one person from another household. One-to-one coaching outdoors is therefore also permitted
  • Organised outdoor sport for under 18s and disabled people will be allowed to continue in larger numbers

We have now updated the summary grid of tennis activity by tier to reflect the above information and cover Tier 4This grid has since been further updated to include confirmation that toilets are able to open in Tier 4 areas, as well as the inclusion of additional detail covering coach education. The full LTA Covid-19 Secure guidance documents have now also been updated (29 December) to reflect the Tier 4 restrictions outlined in the summary grid.
