The Junior coaching programmes caters for both performance and development players. Development players are those who are new to the game or have limited experience and play once or twice per week. Performance players are more experienced players, who generally play regularly three or more times per week and often play in LTA recognised tournaments at home and abroad.
Mini Tennis is a great introduction to the sport for young children between 4 years and 8 years . It's just like the real thing but with a smaller court, nets and rackets and lower-bouncing balls. There a four levels of Mini Tennis; Tots, Red, Orange and Green, each with their own court size and type of ball. This tailored approach, based on age and physical maturity enables players to develop vital skills and techniques at an early age.
