Lockdown: Courts closed again

After the announcement that England will be going into another national lockdown from today (5 January), we are regrettably having to close our courts once again.

This means that members cannot use the courts under any circumstances and all coaching, competition and social sessions will have to stop with immediate effect.

The Government has advised that this guidance should be followed immediately and the law will be updated to reflect the new rules.

While we are disappointed that we are having to take this action again, we have to follow the guidance to ensure the safety of all of our members.

The LTA has said that they will continue to make a case for the earliest safe return of tennis that will include emphasising the mental and physical health benefits of being active.

We hope to be able to open the courts once again as soon as the guidance allows.
