Louis Tranter and Tessa Pearce won Hale Village's first Road to Wimbledon event on Sunday 22nd April. They both qualify to take part in the County finals in July with a chance to play at Wimbledon in August.

The weather was kind to our players and we enjoyed a fun and friendly round robin event on the day. Although there was a real mixture of skill and experience, there were some very competitive matches and some went really close to the wire. None more so than the last match, that finished 14-12 in a tie break that had all the spectators and other players on the edge of their seats.
