With the first attempt at establishing a tennis club ladder having shown a lot of interest from amongst the membership, but having then been thwarted by COVID, we are proposing to relaunch a Stewkley Tennis Club Winter Singles Ladder. The initial plan is for the ladder to run from beginning of November to end of March to give us all a bit of sport during the winter months.

The aim is for matches to last no more than 90 minutes and no player needs to play more than once a week so hopefully not too much of a commitment for even time starved members.

Depending on the levels of interest we may explore other competition formats for use within the club, so if you do have any feedback on the proposed rules, or any other formats that you would be interested in (e.g doubles ladder, or box leagues) then please do let Malcolm know.
