What a fantastic sunny day we had for the official opening of our grass courts!

The celebrations started with a delicious brunch - cream cheese and salmon croissants with a Buck’s Fizz - accompanied by relaxing guitar music by Steve Gable. The juniors enjoyed tennis coaching on court, while their parents enjoyed refreshments on the terrace.

A record crowd turned up for the fun drills Steve Jarrett organised on the grass courts, as well as the afternoon mix-in which was held on all six courts. A BBQ was enjoyed by many while watching some quarter finals men’s doubles.

Thanks to everyone who gave up their time to help with the organisation, food, bar, and BBQ - the atmosphere was amazing and the day just perfect.
