Eight members of St John's (shown above with organizers Caroline Campbell and Debbie Dunne) took part in a tournament to support Our Moon Education Charity, a small education charity based in Zambia. Our Moon provides bright but financially-disadvantaged young people with the skills and knowledge to help them to contribute to Zambia's development. About 100 people played in tournaments all around Tunbridge Wells. Each tournament had 8 players, who played four rounds, against or with different people each time. All players then met at Linden Cricket Ground for a delicious lunch. The organizers said they made around £2000 total from the event.
