SMTC members danced gaily around the courts and feasted upon a freshly slaughtered calf in celebration,  as tennis was permitted to reopen following today's easing of  lockdown restrictions. 
Despite a 4 month lay off,  play was of a very high standard and even included some over arm serving, although none of us could remember how to keep score. Or where to stand.
