The 2023 Swanmore Lawn Tennis Club finals day on 24 June was played in the midst of a heat wave with temperatures hitting the high twenty degrees during the afternoon. The sun rose first thing and stayed throughout proceedings providing a challenge for all those who were involved in the finals.

Although tournament entries were down this year versus previous events, there were still some thrilling and close encounters.
Club Chair, Alison Kalus, was on hand to present the trophies to the winners and tubes of tennis balls to the runners up. She said, “Thanks to all club members who participated and thanks to those who came along on the day to support the finalists.”

Thanks are due to club committee member, Stuart Doherty, for organizing another successful event.
