SLTC October 2016 Newsletter 02 Dear Members, Programme The ‘Winter’ programme is now underway. Mike Johnson is holding a doubles coaching/open session every Tuesday evening at Swanmore College under the floodlights so please contact him directly to play then. Every Wednesday there is a club mix-in with balls provided at Swanmore College courts starting at 1830 so come along and enjoy evening tennis with fellow members all year round. Please let Terry know if you are coming along or just turn up between 1830 and 1845. On Sunday 4th December at 1400 we shall be holding the seasonal ‘Mince Pies & Mayhem’ social tennis afternoon so come along in festive mood and spirit. Mince pies and mulled wine available to energise and ward off any chill. Free Tennis Rackets to New Members Joining the Club While stocks last Mike Johnson has some new children’s rackets and adult babolat rackets. Any 8&U or teenagers/adults who join the club before the end of November can have one of these rackets from him for free. Let other members of your family and friends know so that they can take advantage of this fantastic offer. AGM The AGM is scheduled for 22nd November at 1930 in St Peter’s church hall Bishops Waltham. A formal calling notice with agenda items will be sent separately and posted at the clubhouse. Please consider any items you would like to raise formally or under AOB. We are fortunate to now have a volunteer to take on the role of Webmaster from December 2016 and intend to transfer to a new website hosted by Clubspark over the coming months.
