Membership packages update
Following the AGM a review of membership fees and categories was undertaken by David Allnatt, Stuart Anderson, Iwan Hughes, Jenny Burrows, and Helen Dougherty.
Due to the high number of current members, it was decided that the new membership incentive had achieved its goal of increasing membership, and it was time to remove this new membership incentive while the agreement with the members on the existing deal.
It was also agreed that we would merge student membership with young membership up to the age of 24. Young members membership from 24-30 would be increased from £11 pcm to £16.50 pcm starting from September 2024. We believe this still offers excellent value for money.
A further review of pay and play will be undertaken by Stuart Anderson and the group and will be reported back to the committee shortly.
Closing the new member application process was also considered as we are at capacity but it was agreed to keep it open subject to ongoing review along with membership retention and court usage.
Congratulations to all the Masters/Seniors members who represented Wales in tennis or squash over the past few weeks.
