Easter Egg Hunt 2017 and Comic Relief Challenges
On April 17th we held an Easter Egg hunt for the children who are part of the club. We had over 25 children attend and they all had great fun running around searching for the eggs and the 2 goldens eggs. These were eventually found by Ethan Shields and Mia Cameron.
After the egg hunt we ran some free tennis games for the children (3 – 13 year olds)
Alongside this we were raising some money for comic relief by running 2 games. One was a fastest serving contest where the children and adults paid £1 for 5 serves and we recorded their scores. The fastest servers were given a raffle ticket for the raffle at the end of the day.
The second game for comic relief was the ball machine. They paid £1 for 5 balls from the ball machine. The ball machine was filled with yellow and some red balls. If the machine shot out a red ball as one of their 5 balls then they won something from the prize table (Easter eggs, tennis racket grip, tennis keyrings, other racket accessories etc). They also received a raffle ticket for the raffle.
At the end of the event we did the raffle. The first prize was won by Seb Franzreb (Free lesson James), The second prize was won by Mia Cameron (Free morning at summer camp), Third prize was won by Oliver Melady (2 tubes of tennis balls).
We raised £66 for comic relief and we will be running a similar event next year.
