A sunny day on the grass for the second Mens 1 Surrey League Div 6 fixture, this time against Ashford.  Captain Luke Steel took it upon himself to partner an up-and-coming youngster making his first apparance of the season and duly guided him to two straight set victories.  Our second pair of Jack Freeman, only moderately fatigued after the rigours of a three-week honeymoon, and Richard "I'm the daddy" Simpkin also won both rubbers, the second in a Champions Tie-Break (10-3).  S0 4-0 to TDLTC, well played to the lads.
