Of four scheduled Surrey League matches only the third and fourth teams managed to get their fixtures played with the Mens third team switching venues to play West Byfleet on the artificial clay.  THe first round of matches did not go to plan with Jerry Sharp and Malcolm Parker losing 5-7 4-6 in an under-par performace and Matt Stevenson and Jezza Suckling scraping through 13-11 in a match tie-break.  The second round of matches were much smoother with Jerry and Malcolm winning 6-1 6-1 and the lads playing well to win 6-2 7-5 to secure  3-1 victory and leave the team well placed with three wins out of three.
