Peerless weather and excellent tennis all round as 8 pairs battled out six rounds of 7 games each (sudden death duece) with a tea interval after 5 rounds.  Four men and four ladies / juniors made it through to the five-game semis with Alan C and Mary just pipping Barry and Karen B and Toby Reeks and 14 yr-old Seb Johnson just coming through against Thorben and Belinda.  The final went right to the wire at 3 all and Toby serving out the deciding game.  Prince tennis apparal went to all eight semi-finalists.  Excellent sportmanship and good play made for a successful event so do look out for the friendly social tournaments next season.
