Academy take trip to Reigate LTC

The Tennis Hub Academy headed over to the UK for the day on Wednesday 19th July to play against Reigate Lawn Tennis Club in preparation for the summer competitions ahead. For some, this was their first tennis trip over on the mainland playing against different opposition.

After arriving at the club around 11am the boys got straight into action, with Reigate Head Coach James Smith, pairing the players up according to their age. The boys were playing on the recently laid artifical clay courts which for many was a new experience. They competed throughout the day with the most notable results coming from Max Bracken Smith who won 4 out of the 5 matches he played on the mini orange ball court.

In total, 17 matches were played, in addition to some friendly doubles at the end. All 5 boys demonstrated great attitudes on and off court and represented the club brilliantly.

Well done boys and all the best for the up and coming summer tournaments!
