The club have entered the GB seniors tournament this year.

This LTA tournament is open to LTA ranked players who are also members of clubs.  It comprises of two singles matches and 3 doubles matches.

The GB Senior's Tour features LTA ranked players from clubs across the UK, and in the first round Thornton have been drawn with Lakeside; a club in Derbyshire.   The competition is an over 35 years of age mens tournament.

The first round match vs Lakeside will be an away match for the club and will feature the following players -

Gregg Marshall, Andy Davitt, Andy Lee and Nick Lane.
