Great Britain’s number eight Ryan Peniston was in attendance for the event which saw the club’s youngsters playing a number of excellent matches on court. And it made for an enjoyable afternoon of tennis.
A club spokesman said: “A big thanks to Ryan Peniston for supporting this event and mentoring the kids as well during the day. “Thanks also to Ryan’s dad Paul, head coach Matt Bell and his team for organising the tournament.”
After many entertaining matches, Cassie Khoury won the red ball event with George Bacon runner up.
Cassie also won the orange ball section where Jude Bell was runner up while the green ball event was won by Josh Jackson with Roland Juhasz runner up.
In yellow ball group A, Lillia Noreika was the winner and Lennon Jacobs runner up while yellow ball group B, Teddy Tuskin triumphed with Ruby Sharp runner up.
Lillia Noreika was voted most improved player, Josh Jackson most impressive player, Lennon Jacobs most dedicated player and Jenson Bell most positive player.
