Why you should play tennis

Tennis is fun for all ages, be you just starting on your tennis journey or having played for years and still playing! It's competitive, yet social, sometimes difficult, yet rewarding, and if you can learn to walk, you can learn to play tennis!

Tennis is classified as a high-intensity full-body workout and it improves cardiovascular health. As a result, tennis is associated with a reduced risk of high blood pressure, strokes, diabetes (type-2) and some cancers. Being a high-impact sport, tennis also increases bone density, which helps prevent osteoporosis.

Tennis requires using all parts of the body, so it's a really good workout. It's a skill-based sport, so the better you get, the longer your rallies will be, which means you'll get more exercise!

It's such a social sport, whether you just want to have the occasional hit, or get involved in competitions, there's something for everyone and at all levels. Getting some good tips and constant imnprovement will keep you coming back for more and once you get the hang of it, it'll become addictive as you'll see yourself hitting shots you never dreamt possible.

So what does that mean for you? Well, just get out on court and have some fun! Learn a new skill, develop your current skills, and be happy in the knowledge that while you're having fun, you'd also doing wonders for your body, your mind and your lifestyle!
