On Saturday our red ball player Anavi achieved her first medal. After every session we give our red ball players a sticker which they can add to their sticker card. Once it is all complete, they receive a medal. This teaches are young players dedication, self-discipline, and commitment. We find it very important to instil a sense of achievement with our players. That’s why we create reward pathways for all our players!
Children take up sport for six main reasons, these are, to have fun, to learn and improve skills, to be with and make friends, to be part of a team, to get exercise and stay in shape, and for the challenge and excitement of competition. Young children do not have the strength, skill, and experience to be elite. They’re in it purely to enjoy the experience. This is what we reward for our young players, the experience of playing tennis. This gives them the incentive to keep playing and challenging themselves at tennis.
Well done to our red ballers and all our players, spring will be here soon and we wish to start putting teams together for our juniors to start competing against other clubs.
Keep up the good work guys,
