Truro players Triumph in Cornwall Indoor County Championships

A big well done to Truro’s Joel Fern who retained his County Singles Title, beating fellow Truro player Stan Cole in an excellent singles final.

This was then followed by an all Truro Doubles final which saw Ryan Fern and Tim Webster clinch the doubles title, this was Ryan’s 18th indoor doubles title (first winning it in 1995) and Tim’s 12th. In the final they defeated Joel and Stan in straight sets. Truro LTC was overall well represented with other players including Nathan, Gabriel, Reece, Archie, Zach, Lucas, Jonny and Reeve all putting in strong performances!

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to Sue Eames who refereed this event for the last time. Sue has ran the competitions in the county for many years and has done an amazing job over the years.
