What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
This class will use mini-tennis balls and smaller courts to make learning easier. Our lessons follow a rotating 9-week scheme of work which ensures all players have fun and learn the game. Lessons run all year round with a 1 or 2 week break at the end of each 9-week block of lessons. PLEASE NOTE - Payment for tennis is monthly with some months having more lessons than others. After you join the coaching we will add £2.50 per month to your account for club membership.
