More details about our Club
Adult Club Night
Adult members are always welcome at our Club night sessions, Mondays and Thursdays from 7.00pm and on Saturdays from 2:00pm. This is a perfect opportunity to meet other members and play with a mix of people. We also welcome potential members to join us on Mondays for a hit and to find out more about the Club.
NESLTA league teams
The Club has one men's team (division 2) and two ladies teams (divisions 1 and 4) in the North East Scotland Lawn Tennis Association leagues and we are always looking for new players. If interested please contact the team captains, John Purcell or Ginny Reid at email@example.com. The men's team usually play on Tuesday evenings and the ladies teams on Wednesday evenings.
Regular coaching sessions for our Junior and Mini members are run by our coach Vikki Paterson. Please contact her on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on dates, times and costs. She regularly updates our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/westhilltennisclub) with coaching information. Our adult members are also welcome to contact her to arrange either group or individual coaching sessions.
As a club affiliated to the LTA we are entitled to a number of Wimbledon tickets, although we cannot specify the dates for these. In April, a ballot is drawn by us for these tickets for all who have expressed interest and have opted in on the LTA website (deadline is February, open to all members over the age of 8). More details will be sent nearer the time. If you would like help to opt in for next year then please send us an email.
Westhill & District Community Sport and Leisure Hub (WDCSH)
We are proud members of Westhill & District Community Sport and Leisure Hub (WDCSH), which was established in 2014. A working group of interested parties was formed to determine the vision, aims and progress towards recognised sportscotland hub status.
WDCSH exists to bring the community together by providing pathways of opportunities as well as information, advice and support. The target — to make it easier for all people of all abilities in the Westhill area to get involved and engage in a more active/healthier lifestyle.
