Build Week 4 Done. Solid as a Rock!

Our super solid concrete ring beams are now nearly completed which will open us up to the next stage of the build.  The concrete for court 1 has now set and the shuttering work is being carried out ahead of a final pour of concrete for court 2 on Tuesday.  Once complete, the groundworkers can move on to hardcoring and tarmacing the court surfaces and surrounding areas.  Needless to say, we won't be playing padel on tarmac but the synthetic grass surface will come later.

Before we hardcore, our electricians will be installing all the necessary cables to all the required places so all the devices we need can be wired up later.  These are things like floodlights, security lights, automated access gate, outdoor heaters (for waiting/spectating), speakers, WiFi and CCTV.

We're entering a more exciting phase of the build where we'll really start to see the club take shape.  Within the next few weeks we should have our ground completed with some perimeter fencing also.  Then it'll be time to build the courts themselves!
