Build Week 10 Done. Time for the Final Push!

The official one week countdown starts now!  Next weekend, Wetherby Padel Club will be hosting its first events.  Starting with a Ladies Festival of Padel on Saturday 28th October and our Open Day on Sunday 29th October.  We do hope you'll pop in over the weekend and if you want to attend the free Open Day, please sign up via the Playtomic app (you'll need to register, find Wetherby Padel Club and go to the Activities tab).  Our official opening day for general bookings is Monday 30th October.

Our central canopy is now complete and looks a great addition to the club.  The plan is that people can use this area for waiting and spectating.  We should have some heaters up and running by this weekend to provide some respite from the cold.

Electrical work continues apace.  And thanks to the electricians hard work, it is looking likely that we'll have operational floodlights by the time the club officially opens.  Full confirmation of this tbc.

We've had 2 of our synthetic turf surfaces fitted and await the final 2 next week.  The blue turf contrasts really nicely with the tarmac walkways and gives a nice, modern feel to the club.

The frames for court 1 and 2 have now been completed so they can be fully glazed next week.  Our specialist court fitters have endured some really miserable weather to get this work done and we're especially grateful for the effort they've put in.

So that leaves one more week.  We'll be completing the building work and putting the finishing touches to everything.  Not everything will be ready for day one, namely the gate/light automation.  However, we can play!!!  See you all soon.
