Saturday, 28th March marked a fantastic and long-awaited return of junior tennis to Woodland LTC, as the club hosted a vibrant and successful Junior Open Day led by Head Coach Jamie Allen, with great assistance from Phil Katie and Gabe.

With the weather on our side and the rain holding off, the day saw an incredible turnout of 35 enthusiastic juniors, all eager to get on court and enjoy the game. The event was packed with energy from start to finish, offering a perfect mix of fun games, engaging coaching activities, and plenty of smiles.

The atmosphere around the club was buzzing as players of all abilities got involved, showcasing their skills and building confidence in a welcoming and supportive environment. Off the court, the fun continued with donuts and goodie bags, which were a big hit among the juniors and added to the celebratory feel of the day.

It was a brilliant way to kick off the season and reintroduce junior tennis at Woodland LTC. A huge thank you goes to Jamie Allen, Phil Katie and Gabe for delivering such an enjoyable session, and to everyone who helped and attended and made the day so special.
