HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our fabulous U8 team who reached the Oxfordshire U8 County Finals. The squad - Henry Renfrew, Ben Chapple, Marko Egan, Victoria Passey, Tia Alden and Otto Bisson, have been playing all season against the teams in their group and came out top of their group. On Sunday 7th July, Wychwoods Tennis Club hosted the U8 semi finals and finals in a fabulous afternoon of tennis with players from Wychwoods, Abingdon White Horse, Banbury West End and Banbury LTC. In their semi finals, Abingdon White Horse beat Banbury LTC and Wychwoods beat Banbury West End. So the final... Abingdon White Horse v Wychwoods. It was 6 matches each going into the last 4 matches and in toughly fought rallies in intense heat, Abingdon White Horse just managed to beat us by 9 matches to 7. The team - HENRY RENREW, BEN CHAPPLE, MARKO EGAN and VICTORIA PASSEY played some superb tennis and should feel incredibly proud of themsleves for being runners-up in the county. WELL DONE!!.
