COVID-19 Guidance for Players
Tue, 30 Jun 2020 00:00
Following the rules put out by the LTA in conjunction with the latest Government advice, the Committee has agreed that from Monday 6 July the rules for court booking and on-court play will be updated as follows:
1. Players must keep at least ONE METRE apart.
2. We will be opening up court 2 for members to book and doubles can be played on all three courts. When accessing Court 2 you may use either gate but please do not walk behind players during a rally.
3. NEW BOOKING RULES: We are lifting the rule of only one booking ahead and trialling a different system by reducing the advance booking time to six days. For example: If your latest booking is on Monday 1st you will only be able to book for Monday 8th on Tuesday 2nd
4. Members will be allowed to bring a guest/s to play on the courts. £3 per adult and £1 per junior. Members must ensure that their guests follow all the hygiene rules on court.
Fees payable on line Sort code: 20.03.84 Account number 33751902
Reference: Guest fee (GF) and guest's surname
All the hygiene rules and access to the courts remain the same and PLEASE bring your own hand sanitizer or a glove.
Please take your litter and belongings home and do not sit or rest anything on the benches.
Parents of junior members who are playing independently should please make sure they abide by these rules.
Juniors under 12 should be supervised at all times by an adult.
Please remember to CANCEL your court if you find you're unable to play.
ENJOY YOUR GAME!
And a great big THANK YOU from all the Committee for adhering to these rules.
Chris Hampton, our Club Coach, is still available for individual coaching and he has organised some group coaching sessions for those people whose lessons were cancelled because of the lockdown.
His summer camps have been advertised and there are still a few spaces. If you've been unlucky enough to miss out on the camps it is still possible to organise a group session. Contact Chris for a personalised group session of a max of 4 players.
