What can you expect?
At the Red stage, children practice to serve (with an overarm throw) rally, and learn to play points. Coaches will help children to develop adaptive skills, coordination, balance & speed. Through basic instruction, children continue to prepare for the game ahead.
Notes from the coach
LTA Youth Red is for players aged between 6 and 8 years old. It serves as a fantastic introduction to our wonderful sport. Players learn to serve, rally and score with a slow ball, as well as learning the movement and co-ordination skills needed for tennis and many other sports.
