The City of Peterborough Tennis Club Championships has come to an end, 113 players, 173 matches, 296 sets, 2439 games all completed in 87 days. Thankyou to all players that committed to playing the tournament and organising their matches within the deadlines.
We finished off the tournament with a fantastic finals day with 13 out of 16 finals being able to go ahead with some amazingly close games with a few going to tiebreak! This years club championships was extra special with the brilliant party organised by Shyane and her crack team!(Becs, Vicky, Ej). Thankyou to all of the team and to everyone who helped on the night.

This year we got a grant from seniors tennis of £200 which we decided to invest into 5 trophies for the open main competition that can be used for the next 15 years. We are hoping to obtain the grant again next year to get more trophies that are sustainable rather than singles use trophies.
