Jack Edward - Level 3 Accredited + Coach, Tennis Coordinator for Achieve More Scotland
Jack is responsible for running the tennis programme at Achieve More Scotland. He doesn't coach one of the sessions but you may see him at your local school or courts keeping tabs on everything. He is very friendly so be sure to say hi to him if you see him!
Luke Quigley - Level 3 Accredited + Coach, Tennis Coach at Whitemoss Tennis Courts, Blacklaw Primary and Maxwellton Primary in East Kilbride
Luke has been the heart of tennis in East Kilbride for many years so we are delighted to have him join the team. He has been into various primary schools, including Hunter, Blacklaw, Maxwellton and Halfmerke, and runs our after-school club at the Village Centre on Wednesdays. He has created a fervour for tennis amongst the P3-P7s in the Calderglen area of East Kilbride.
Caitlin Muir - Level 2 Accredited Coach, Tennis Coach at Wishaw Sports Centre, St Thomas's Primary and Thornlie Primary in Wishaw, St Margaret's Primary in Cumbernauld
Caitlin leads our tennis sessions in Pather, Wishaw, and in Cumbernauld. With plenty of experience coaching with Jack at Mount Vernon Tennis Club, she is a very approachable and easy-going coach. She coaches at St Thomas's and Thornlie Primaries every Thursday and St Margaret's in Cumbernauld during school hours. Assisted by Ben Johnston, Caitlin then takes to Wishaw Sports Centre to head our after-school programme from 3.30pm-6pm.
Kyla Dibsdall - Level 3 Accredited + Coach, Tennis Coach at Dunard Primary in Maryhill
Kyla runs our sessions at Dunard Primary in Maryhill, taking classes for the P6 and P7s and running an afterschool club for the P3-P5s. As a mother of two of the children she coaches, she truly cares for her classes, citing her passion as a coach in working with children from a young age.
Cara Davidson - Level 3 Accredited + Coach, Tennis Coach at Parkview Primary in Maryhill
Cara runs our sessions at Parkview Primary in Maryhill, taking classes for the P3-P5s before heading over to John Paul Academy for an after-school tennis club with Active Schools. Cara is the former head coach at Blairgowrie Tennis Club and has over 10 years of experience coaching under her belt.
Hugh O'Neill - Level 1 Coach, Tennis Coach at Haghill Primary in Haghill
Working in tandem with Liam, Hugh runs our sessions at Haghill Primary. He has had experienced coaching since the age of 12 and grew up playing at Cambuslang Tennis Club. Hugh has been a full-time coach for the last 2 years at Giffnock Squash and Hockey club and was on a tennis coaching apprenticeship with Tennis Scotland for a year. He joined Achieve More because of his love for what they represent and to give children new experiences.
Liam McBride - Level 1 Coach, Tennis Coach at Haghill Primary in Haghill
Working in tandem with Hugh, Liam runs our sessions at Haghill Primary. Liam has had plenty of experience as a junior player and has used that experience to coach at Newlands Lawn Tennis Club. He has also run our Easter and Summer camp sessions engaging many kids at the same time. Through funding with Achieve More, Liam will be starting his Level 2 this year.
George Barr - Level 1 Coach, Tennis Coach at St Mary's Primary in Maryhill
George has 15 years experience coaching young children, developing and nurturing the beginning stages of their sporting experience. He previously owned and managed a franchise, Enjoy-A-Ball, in and around Glasgow's West End. George's endless energy and his background in multi-sports make him a perfect fit for engaging the kids from St Mary's.
