Introduction

There are six newly refurbished tennis courts in Alexandra Park, Hastings, with thanks to funding from the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). The courts have new surfaces, nets and posts.

Booking online is quick and easy and courts can be booked up to seven days in advance for annual household seasonal ticket holders and Pay and Play sessions.

The courts are managed by Hastings Borough Council.

We are delighted to announce the Alexandra Park Tennis Courts have been named Tennis Park Venue of the Year at the prestigious Sussex Tennis awards.

The award ceremony highlighted the incredible achievements and contributions of people in tennis in Sussex. To be nominated and win against so many tennis park facilities throughout Sussex, is a great achievement and we are so glad our beautiful courts have been recognised and celebrated.

We would also like to congratulate Joe Adams from Break Point Tennis who won Coach of the Year and Ross Cudmore, also from Break Point Tennis, who won Disability Player of the Year, alongside Matt Grover.

 

Free Park Tennis

Free Park Tennis is a new programme that gives more people the chance to play tennis – offering fun, social tennis sessions at a local park court near you. Sessions are free for all ages and abilities, running for one hour every Sunday at 10am and are led by Break Point Tennis’ team of trained volunteers  - book your free place here   https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/BreakPointTennisAlexandraPark/FreeParks

Over 200 mixed singles and doubles leagues are taking place at local parks and public courts across the nation all year round for adults over the age of 18, and we want you to get involved. 

Never competed before? No problem – we'll help you find a tennis opponent using your ITF World Tennis Number, so you play opponents at the right standard for you.

How to sign up

To join Barlcays Local Tennis Leagues follow the steps below:

  1. Download the app via the relevant app store by searching 'Barlcays Local Tennis Leagues'
  2. Log in/create an account
  3. Search and choose a League near you
  4. Select a Round to join and complete the checkout

We’ll add you to a group with other players of your standard, according to your ITF World Tennis Number. The day before the Round starts, you’ll receive all the information you need to get playing!
