Alimacs tennis coaching was established in December 2012 by Alan MacBeath. The team have helped local clubs increase participation in tennis. Alan was awarded LTA Communty coach of the year in 2014 in his work rejuvinating Cardross LTC club which has increased its membership from 30 to a peak of 235. The team left the club in 2017 with 7 adult teams and a sustainable coaching program that is organised and delivered by local coaches. Now Alimacs Tennis is working to increas participation in Helensburgh and the surrounding area.

Alan has worked as a tennis coach for over 12 years in the local area and has gained a wealth of experience through coaching and playing. Alan's teaching experience extends beyond the tennis court as he is a qualified teacher.
