Parkinson's Tennis

We run weekly sessions in our indoor hall for people with Parkinsons. Sessions run from 10:30-11:30 on a Tuesday morning. We meet weekly, so please feel free to join us. A timetable of sessions is below.

Sessions are run by our resident Head Coach, Jamie Walters, who is a level 3 tennis coach and Mark Harkins who is a retired NHS Physio.

We aim to make sessions fun, engaging, and help provide a community in which people with parkinsons can engage in exercise with fellow people using tennis as the median. There is no prior tennis experience required.

We are able to accept people at all stages of Parkinsons with diability access to our hall. You are able to do the sessions either standing, sitting or in a wheelchair, we are able to accomodate.

Things to expect:

- Phsyio based warm-up

- Physical skills (co-ordination, power, balance etc)

- Fun

- Games

- Community
