Autumn 2020

We are delighted to have made it back on court safely and hope you are all well. We returned back in May, initially on a 1:1 coaching basis before restrictions were eased in June allowing us to restart some of our Junior and Adult classes on a 5:1 basis. Whilst this caused logistical headaches, it was fantastic to get both children and adults back on court again in a safe environment.

Over the summer, again with restrictions eased around numbers, we were able to succesfully run our Summer Tennis Camps and welcome lots of new faces to the court, as well as eager parents wanting to learn how to play tennis and get involved. Again, following strict LTA and government guidelines, all bookings were taken online, hand sanitser was used before and after each session, and numbers were in line with guidelines with social distancing enforced protecting everyone on the court.

In September, we were able to restart our core programme (pre lockdown times then applied), and we have seen a high number of new clients, happy faces, and Orange t-shirts (courtesy of our Tennis 4 Kids course for the young ones!)

As we get towards the end of the first half term (October), we will be rolling out our November to December courses at both clubs. It's never too late to join, and we find that those children who contiue to play through the winter are at a significant advantage come spring to those that stop. Remember, Tennis can be played all year round, and with our coaches on board to make things fun then feel free to contact me anytime to discuss the best way to get involved.
